Franck VALENCIA has a doctorate in Private Law and Criminal Sciences from the University of Nancy. The field of his thesis concerns the protection of the shareholder's interests in the limited company in french and spanish rights (research undertaken at the Law Faculties in Nancy and Barcelona alternately).
His areas of teaching and research specialization are Contract and Civil Law, International Business Law, Criminal Law and Company Law.
He also holds an Advocate Degree from the Regional Training Centre for Barristers for the Nancy Court of Appeal and worked several years as a lawyer at Nancy's bar.
From 2007 to present, he is Policy Officer for the Ministry of the Economy and the Foreign Trade of the Grand-Duché de Luxembourg, (Direction of regional policy). He is a specialist in the field of regulation of the European Structural Funds.
