Daniel CAUMONT has a Doctorate in Psychology from the University of Caen and a DEA in Marketing from the University of Paris IX - Dauphine. He was Head of Department of Marketing for the ICN Business School from 2000 to 2005.
His areas of specialization in teaching and research are Marketing Research, Statistics for Marketing and Consumer Behavior and Advertising (his doctoral research on advertising influence won the Great Gold Medal issued by the Marcel-Dassault / Jours de France Foundation). He worked for more than ten years in industry and has considerable experience as a professional consultant: as a chargé d'études in the foodstuffs industry and as Technical Director of a Market Research Institute.
He has been a member of editorial and reviewing committees for the journals "Recherches et Applications en Marketing" and "Décisions Marketing. He has also been a member of the management boards of professional associations, and has published books and articles on different aspects of his fields of specialisation.
